Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in our medical facility. You must have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and be capable of working with a variety of patients. The ideal candidate is an organized and reliable individual who takes initiative and is willing to take on extra responsibilities when needed. Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent • Current certification as a Nurse Assistant or Patient Care Technician • 1 or more years of professional experience in a medical facility • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Proficiency in basic computer skills • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities: • Provide excellent patient care in accordance with Kaiser Permanente standards and regulations • Ensure that all patient needs are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner • Assist in the daily operations of the medical facility • Provide assistance to physicians and nurses in the examination and treatment of patients • Document patient medical histories and records to ensure proper patient care • Answer patient inquiries and provide quality customer service • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians • Monitor patient vital signs and provide updates to medical staff • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Participate in professional development activities to ensure knowledge of current healthcare procedures and standards
