Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure accurate and efficient patient registration and pre-authorization processes.
  2. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
  3. Compile and maintain patient records.
  4. Collect insurance information and verify eligibility.
  5. Process patient payments and update billing systems.
  6. Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely claims processing.
  7. Monitor and track patient appointments and documents.
  8. Remain current with insurance policies and procedures.
  9. Provide guidance and answer inquiries related to patient access services.
  10. Follow applicable HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
