Job Description

At Kaiser Permanente, we are looking for an experienced Pathologist Speech-Language to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in speech pathology and have a passion for helping others. The Pathologist Speech-Language will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech and language disorders, as well as consult with and provide education to families, staff, and other health professionals.The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. They should also have at least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting. Additionally, the Pathologist Speech-Language should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech and language disorders.
  2. Consult with and provide education to families, staff, and other health professionals.
  3. Develop treatment plans for patients based on assessment results.
  4. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  5. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate with other healthcare professionals.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  7. Research speech and language pathology techniques and treatment plans.
  8. Stay up to date with the latest advances in the field.
  9. Provide a supportive and encouraging environment for patients to progress.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills

  • Master's Degree In Speech Language Pathology

  • A Valid Certificate Of Clinical Competence (Ccc) In Speech Language Pathology From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha)

  • Licensed By The State Of California Speech-Language Pathology And Audiology Board

  • At Least One Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting
