  1. Provide critical support to the legal team in managing a variety of corporate and business law matters.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis on legal issues and present findings to the legal team.
  3. Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence.
  4. Organize and maintain legal files and documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  5. Review and summarize legal documents and contracts, identifying any potential issues or risks.
  6. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on legal matters.
  7. Assist in preparing for legal proceedings, including gathering evidence and coordinating with outside counsel.
  8. Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate potential risks.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  11. Act as a liaison between the legal team and other departments within the organization.
  12. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements for the legal team.
  13. Contribute to the development and implementation of legal strategies and policies.
  14. Assist in managing and prioritizing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  15. Demonstrate a strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
  16. Exercise diligence and attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
  17. Take on new challenges and proactively seek out ways to improve processes and procedures.
  18. Uphold the values and mission of Kaiser Permanente and serve as a positive representative of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies, Business Law, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Paralegal, Preferably In Corporate Or Business Law.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Regulations And Laws, Particularly In Relation To Corporate Strategy.

  • Strong Research And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Legal Documents And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Abilities, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
