- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for the legal team to use in decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Maintain and update legal files and databases to ensure accurate and timely access to information.
- Monitor and track compliance with laws and regulations, and report any potential risks or violations to the legal team.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Communicate with external parties, such as government agencies and outside counsel, on behalf of the legal team.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments for the legal team, including arranging travel and accommodations as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of legal training programs for employees to ensure understanding and compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards set forth by the organization.
- Continuously update knowledge of legal and regulatory changes in the healthcare industry and provide recommendations for any necessary updates to policies or procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, drafting correspondence, and managing calendars, to support the efficient operation of the legal department.
- Act as a liaison between the legal team and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical conduct.
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or A Related Field, Or Equivalent Work Experience.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Paralegal In A Law Firm Or Corporate Legal Department.
Strong Knowledge Of Legal Procedures And Terminology, As Well As Familiarity With Relevant Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.
Proficiency In Legal Research And Writing, As Well As Experience With Legal Software And Document Management Systems.
