  1. Conduct contract review and assist with drafting and negotiating legal agreements.

  3. Prepare and organize legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, and contracts.

  5. Communicate effectively with internal teams, external parties, and clients regarding legal matters.
  6. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

  8. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive legal information.
  9. Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  10. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure alignment and consistency in legal matters.
  11. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files.
  12. Uphold Kaiser Permanente's values and mission in all aspects of the job.
  13. Proactively identify and suggest improvements to legal processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Paralegal In A Healthcare Or Corporate Setting

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations, Such As Hipaa And Healthcare Compliance

  • Proficiency In Legal Research, Document Management, And Case Management Software

  • Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Critical Thinking Skills.
