- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and cases to support the legal team's decision-making process.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and correspondence, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings by organizing and reviewing case materials.
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible for the legal team.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments and external parties, including outside counsel, to gather necessary information and documents.
- Assist with document management and e-discovery processes, including reviewing and organizing electronic documents.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and track legal deadlines, ensuring all necessary filings and submissions are completed on time.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Stay informed of changes in laws and regulations related to healthcare and provide updates to the legal team as needed.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist with other legal projects and tasks as assigned by the legal team.
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience Working In A Legal Setting, Preferably In Healthcare Or Insurance Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Legal Terminology, Procedures And Documentation.
Proficient In Using Legal Research Tools And Software.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks Efficiently.
