- Assist orthopedic specialists with patient care: The primary responsibility of an Orthopedic Technician is to assist orthopedic specialists with patient care. This includes preparing patients for exams and procedures, taking vital signs, and assisting with treatments and procedures.
- Maintain and prepare equipment: The Orthopedic Technician will be responsible for maintaining and preparing orthopedic equipment and supplies. This includes ensuring equipment is in good working condition, properly sterilized, and readily available for use.

Knowledge Of Orthopedic Procedures And Equipment: A Strong Understanding Of Orthopedic Conditions, Treatments, And Surgical Procedures Is Essential For This Role. Experience With Orthopedic Equipment, Such As Traction Devices And Splints, Is Also A Valuable Qualification.
