- Assist in the treatment and care of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality orthopedic services.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with any necessary medical equipment.

Certified Orthopedic Technician: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Hold A Certification As An Orthopedic Technician From A Recognized Institution. This Certification Will Ensure That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Duties Of An Orthopedic Technician Effectively.
Experience In Orthopedic Care: Kaiser Permanente Is Looking For Candidates With A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Orthopedic Care. This Experience Should Include Working With Patients With A Variety Of Musculoskeletal Conditions And Injuries, As Well As Assisting Orthopedic Surgeons In Procedures.
Knowledge Of Orthopedic Equipment: A Strong Understanding Of Orthopedic Equipment And Its Proper Use Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Various Devices Such As Splints, Braces, And Traction Equipment, And Be Able To Properly Apply And Adjust Them As Per The Physician's Instructions.
Excellent Communication Skills: As An Orthopedic Technician, The Candidate Will Need To Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must For This Role.
Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Accurately Follow Physician's Instructions. This Is Crucial In Orthopedic Care As Even Minor Errors Can Have Serious Consequences. The Ability To Maintain Accurate Patient Records And Documentation Is Also Important For This Role.
