  1. Provide exceptional eye care to patients by assisting optometrists in various tasks such as taking patient history, performing preliminary eye tests, and preparing patients for eye exams.
  2. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and maintain accuracy in all tasks performed.
  3. Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and effectively manage time to ensure efficient patient flow.
  4. Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver top-quality care to patients.
  5. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding customer service by addressing patient needs and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
  9. Keep accurate records of patient information, tests performed, and procedures completed.
  10. Attend trainings and stay updated on industry developments and advancements in optometry to provide the best care to patients.
  11. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining inventory of supplies.
  12. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
  14. Continuously strive to improve and enhance the patient experience by seeking feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
  15. Embody the values and mission of the organization in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Completion Of A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Optometric Technician (Cot) Program

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Optometry Or Ophthalmology
