Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care services to our members. Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, caring professional with a passion for providing top-notch patient care. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for overseeing the vision care of our members, including examining eyes for signs of disease, prescribing corrective lenses, and educating patients on eye health. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Doctor of Optometry degree and be licensed to practice in the state. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus. Most importantly, you should have a genuine interest in helping patients maintain their eye health.
Responsibilities:
- Examine eyes for signs of disease and provide comprehensive eye care services to members.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and educate patients on eye health.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all members receive quality care and services.
- Follow up with patients to ensure that their vision needs are being met.
- Develop and implement eye care plans based on individual needs.
- Stay up to date on the latest research and technology related to vision care.
- Keep abreast of changes in optometric regulations and standards of practice.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure all patients receive the best care possible.
- Participate in continuing education programs and seminars to stay current on optometric treatments and technologies.
- Be available to provide on-call services as needed.
Must Have A Doctor Of Optometry Degree From An Accredited College Of Optometry
