  1. Conduct thorough eye exams and provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for patients.
  2. Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and treatment options to provide the most current and effective care.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, providing them with personalized and compassionate care.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the Kaiser Permanente network to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

  6. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including exam findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  7. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

  9. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction by addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  11. Promote a positive and welcoming environment for patients and colleagues.
  12. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  13. Collaborate with the administrative team to schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback on ways to enhance the patient experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Colleagues, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Doctor Of Optometry (Od) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current State License To Practice Optometry.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ocular Diseases, Treatments, And Medical Management.
