- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, including but not limited to, myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, based on patients' needs and preferences.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and maintenance to promote optimal eye health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and primary care physicians, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in optometry to continuously improve patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Attend regular meetings, trainings, and conferences to stay informed on changes and updates in the field of optometry.

Doctor Of Optometry (O.d.) Degree From An Accredited Optometry School
Current State License To Practice Optometry
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Medical Group Or Hospital Environment
Strong Knowledge Of Optometric Principles, Techniques, And Equipment
