Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a dedicated member of our healthcare team, you’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care to our patients. To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an understanding of the latest eye care technology.The ideal candidate should have a Doctor of Optometry degree and a valid license in the state of practice. They should have at least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, and a strong knowledge of vision care products. Experience working with EMRs is also preferred.If you’re a passionate Optometrist with a commitment to providing quality care, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive eye care to patients, including diagnosis and management of ocular conditions.
  2. Utilize the latest eye care technology and methods to diagnose and treat patients.
  3. Maintain patient records, including medical history, symptoms, vision examinations, and diagnoses.
  4. Educate patients about eye care and available products.
  5. Manage patient appointments and schedules.
  6. Work with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) systems.
  7. Maintain a valid Optometry license in the state of practice.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in eye care.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients.
