
Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Assess the patient’s physical, mental, developmental, and emotional needs and develop a plan of care to meet those needs.
- Administer and interpret tests and evaluations to assess the patient’s abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the patient’s needs.
- Assist patients in learning and mastering skills needed for daily living.
- Provide instruction to patients and families on how to use adaptive equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and other medical professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide input on patient care.
- Stay current with best practices and advances in the field of Occupational Therapy.
