  1. Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff based on current best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  2. Assess the learning needs of individual nurses and develop personalized learning plans to address any knowledge gaps.
  3. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance nursing skills and knowledge, including topics such as patient safety, infection control, and clinical procedures.
  4. Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them through education and training.
  5. Stay current on industry trends and updates in nursing practice to ensure training materials and programs are up-to-date and relevant.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback from nursing staff.
  7. Utilize various teaching methods, materials, and technologies to engage and educate nursing staff.
  8. Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to nursing education and training.
  10. Maintain records and documentation of training activities and keep track of nursing staff's progress and development.
  11. Participate in organizational meetings and committees to provide input and contribute to the improvement of nursing practice and patient care.
  12. Uphold and promote the values and mission of Kaiser Permanente through all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Certification In Nursing Professional Development (E.g. Anpd Certification Or Equivalent).

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Nursing Education Or Staff Development, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Communication, Leadership, And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multi-Disciplinary Teams And Manage Multiple Projects.
