  1. Provide direct patient care: The nursing attendant will be responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. They will also help with mobility and positioning, as well as providing emotional support to patients.
  2. Monitor patient health: The nursing attendant will be responsible for monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. They will also observe patients for any changes in condition and report them to the healthcare team.
  3. Assist with medical procedures: The nursing attendant will assist the healthcare team with various medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and administering medication. They will ensure all procedures are done correctly and safely.
  4. Maintain patient hygiene: The nursing attendant will be responsible for keeping patients clean and comfortable by assisting with personal hygiene tasks, changing linens, and maintaining a clean and organized patient environment.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team: The nursing attendant will work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients are receiving the best possible care. They will communicate any concerns or observations to the healthcare team.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols: The nursing attendant will follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  7. Provide emotional support: The nursing attendant will provide emotional support to patients and their families by actively listening and offering comfort and reassurance during difficult times.
  8. Document patient care: The nursing attendant will accurately document all patient care and observations in the patient's medical record.
  9. Maintain equipment and supplies: The nursing attendant will be responsible for maintaining and restocking supplies and equipment used in patient care.
  10. Attend training and meetings: The nursing attendant will participate in ongoing training and attend staff meetings to stay updated on best practices and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Completion Of An Accredited Nursing Assistant Program

  • Current Certification As A Nursing Assistant In The State Of California

  • Previous Experience Working In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Setting Preferred.
