- Provide compassionate care to patients and their families during their stay at Kaiser Permanente.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge process of patients.
- Monitor and report changes in patient's condition to the registered nurse.
- Help patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer basic nursing procedures under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in the transportation of patients to different areas of the hospital.
- Document patient care and observations accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Comply with infection control and safety protocols.
- Follow all state and federal regulations related to patient care and safety.
- Maintain a high level of competency and knowledge regarding nursing procedures and techniques.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Nursing Attendant At Kaiser Permanente Is Expected To Have A Minimum Educational Qualification Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Academic Subjects Such As English, Math, And Science, Which Are Essential For The Job.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: A Nursing Attendant At Kaiser Permanente Must Have A Valid Cna Certification From An Accredited Institution. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Assist Nurses And Provide Basic Patient Care.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably As A Nursing Assistant, Is Highly Preferred For This Role. This Experience Helps The Candidate Understand The Expectations And Demands Of The Job, And Also Ensures That They Are Familiar With Basic Medical Terminology And Procedures.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Nursing Attendant, Effective Communication Is Crucial For Providing Quality Patient Care. Candidates Must Have Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Interact With Patients, Their Families, And The Healthcare Team.
Physical Stamina And Emotional Resilience: Working As A Nursing Attendant At Kaiser Permanente Can Be Physically And Emotionally Demanding. Candidates Must Have The Physical Stamina To Stand For Long Periods, Lift And Move Patients, And Perform Other Physically Challenging Tasks.
