- Provide exceptional care to patients with complex and challenging medical conditions in the areas of oncology and hematology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and manage treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met.
- Stay current with advances in oncology and hematology research, treatments, and technologies.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and ensure coordinated and holistic treatment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Oncology/Hematology From An Accredited Program.
Active And Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License In The State Of Practice.
Current Certification As A Nurse Practitioner In Oncology/Hematology From A Recognized National Certification Board.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In An Oncology/Hematology Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities In Oncology/Hematology.
