  4. Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options.
  6. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  7. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
  8. Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program With A Specialization In Oncology Or Hematology.

  • Current Licensure As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Where The Job Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In An Oncology Or Hematology Setting.

  • Certification As An Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (Aocnp) Or Advanced Certified Hospice And Palliative Nurse (Achpn).

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
