- Oversee and manage the operations of the Emergency Department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Lead a team of nurses by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to promote professional growth and development.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nurses in the Emergency Department, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary and coordinated approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to patient care, staffing, and department operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.

- Serve as a liaison between the Emergency Department and other departments within the organization, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Nurse Manager In The Emergency Department At Kaiser Permanente Should Hold A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where They Will Be Working.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Emergency Department: Kaiser Permanente Requires At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Emergency Department Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Emergency Procedures And Protocols.
Leadership And Management Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Nurses And Other Staff Members.
