Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of nuclear medicine equipment and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team. We are seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing quality patient care. Required Qualifications: • Possession of a valid and unrestricted certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team • Commitment to providing quality patient care

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize nuclear medicine equipment safely and effectively.
  2. Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  3. Maintain current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  4. Maintain valid and current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  5. Ensure that nuclear medicine imaging is conducted accurately and efficiently.
  6. Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team.
  7. Maintain high standards of patient care.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Monitor patient safety and ensure accuracy of test results.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
