
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
At Kaiser Permanente, we are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. As we continue to grow and expand our Nuclear Medicine services, we are searching for a highly-motivated individual to join our team and help make a positive impact in the lives of our patients.The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine procedures and providing quality patient care in accordance with all safety regulations and standards. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The ideal candidate will have the qualifications outlined below: • Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program• A current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification issued by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)• A minimum of one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine• Knowledge of and experience with Nuclear Medicine equipment• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards• Working knowledge of medical terminology• Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have the qualifications we are looking for, we would love for you to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with safety regulations and standards.
- Provide quality patient care.
- Maintain current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment and interpret test results.
- Maintain patient records and complete required documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Maintain working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care.
