
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for patient care and will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging and administering radiopharmaceuticals. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist must also have a valid ARRT, NMTCB, or CNMT registration. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals. Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety regulations.
- Provide quality patient care and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Maintain patient records and documentation according to established standards.
- Utilize advanced imaging and therapeutic procedures to diagnose and manage patient conditions.
- Collaborate with other professionals and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to maintain licensure.
- Monitor patient vitals and administer radiation safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment and supplies.
- Provide support and advice to other healthcare professionals and patients.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
B.s. Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Equivalent
Certified In Nuclear Medicine Technology
Registered By The State Of California Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists
Current Arrt Certification In Nuclear Medicine Technology
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Safety And Quality Control Standards
