- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in nuclear medicine, including administering and monitoring radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing images.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and protocols for each patient.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Accurately record and maintain patient information and imaging data.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to handling and disposing of radioactive materials.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
- Provide patient education and explain imaging procedures and results in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.
- Adhere to all Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Hospital Or Medical Setting, Preferably In A Nuclear Medicine Department.
Strong Understanding Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Procedures, And Ability To Maintain Compliance With Regulatory Agencies.
