- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials in accordance with established protocols and safety measures.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of radioactive materials and ensure proper disposal in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as directed by physicians.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and report any malfunctions.
- Interact with patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain and accurately interpret patient medical histories and test results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Stay current with advances in nuclear medicine technology and participate in continuing education to maintain required certifications.

Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or A Related Field.
Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Nuclear Medicine.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nuclear Medicine Technician.
Familiarity With Current Radiation Safety Protocols And Regulations.
