  1. Perform nuclear medicine procedures using advanced imaging technology accurately and efficiently.
  2. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols.
  3. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  4. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to radiopharmaceuticals and take appropriate measures if needed.
  5. Maintain and operate nuclear medicine equipment, performing regular quality control checks and reporting any malfunctions.
  6. Keep accurate records of procedures and patient information in accordance with departmental policies.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and timely patient care.
  8. Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and trainings to stay updated on new techniques and procedures.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in performing duties.
  13. Maintain proficiency in nuclear medicine technology by attending continuing education courses and staying current with industry developments.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Cnmt) Through The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist

  • Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Procedures

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Patients And Collaborating With Healthcare Team Members.
