Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team. As an MRI Technologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.   1. Perform high-quality MRI scans on patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed.
  3. Monitor patient safety during MRI scans and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or complications.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of MRI images.
  5. Continuously assess and maintain the functionality and safety of MRI equipment.
  6. Educate patients about the MRI procedure and address any questions or concerns.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  8. Keep up-to-date with advancements and changes in MRI technology and procedures.
  9. Provide exceptional patient care by demonstrating compassion, empathy, and respect towards all patients.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  11. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide a seamless and efficient patient experience.
  12. Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the values and mission of Kaiser Permanente.
  13. Complete and submit accurate billing and coding information for all procedures.
  14. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standard of care.
  15. Adhere to all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification In Mri

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Mri Technologist In A Clinical Setting

  • Strong Understanding Of Mri Safety Protocols And Procedures

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
