Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate MRI Technologist to join the Kaiser Permanente team. In this role, you will use state-of-the-art imaging equipment to capture and interpret MRI scans of our patients. The ideal candidate is an experienced technologist who is committed to providing quality patient care in a team-oriented environment. To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and a minimum of two years of experience in MRI. You must also have a current certification in MRI Technology from the ARRT and be registered in the state of California. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently. A passion for patient care, along with a commitment to providing the highest quality care, is essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate MRI imaging equipment to capture and interpret MRI scans of patients.
  2. Provide quality patient care in a team-oriented environment.
  3. Maintain current certification in MRI Technology from the ARRT and registration in the state of California.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other medical professionals.
  5. Ensure accuracy in all MRI scans.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  7. Follow established protocols and safety procedures.
  8. Remain current on the latest MRI technology.
  9. Troubleshoot any issues with the MRI equipment.
  10. Provide assistance and guidance to other MRI Technologists as needed.
