Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate MRI Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MRI imaging, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. They should have an in-depth knowledge of MRI techniques, safety standards, and quality control procedures, along with a desire to stay current with the latest advancements in MRI technology. We are seeking an individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative and professional environment. Required Qualifications:• Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)• Must possess valid California State Radiologic Technologist License• Must have experience with MRI imaging• CPR certification• Knowledge of MQSA regulations• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality patient care and MRI imaging services to patients.
  2. Follow safety procedures and regulations related to MRI technology.
  3. Maintain MQSA (Medical Quality Safety Act) regulations.
  4. Perform MRI scans, interpret images and provide results to physicians.
  5. Monitor MRI equipment and ensure proper function.
  6. Ensure patient comfort and safety during MRI scans.
  7. Maintain accurate records of patient scans and results.
  8. Monitor quality control procedures and adjust as needed.
  9. Stay up to date on the latest advancements in MRI technology.
  10. Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care.
