  1. Monitor and interpret patient cardiac rhythms using specialized equipment and software.
  2. Collaborate with medical staff to identify and report any abnormal cardiac rhythms or changes in patient condition.
  3. Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions by providing accurate and timely data.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient monitoring and interventions.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding cardiac rhythm findings and interventions.
  6. Ensure proper functioning of monitoring equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as HIPAA regulations, to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
  8. Stay updated on new advancements and techniques in cardiac monitoring and incorporate them into daily practice.
  9. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families during stressful situations.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  13. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure timely and accurate monitoring.
  14. Display a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and coworkers.
  15. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of cardiac rhythms.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) From A Recognized Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Monitor Technician Or In A Related Healthcare Field.

  • Proficiency In Interpreting Cardiac Rhythms And Identifying Abnormalities.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Effectively.
