Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Monitor Technician to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patient care on a variety of medical equipment, ensuring accuracy of all readings, and providing technical assistance for patient care. This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual with excellent patient care skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor patient care and readings on various medical equipment.
  2. Provide technical assistance in patient care.
  3. Ensure accuracy of all readings.
  4. Maintain a compassionate and detail-oriented attitude.
  5. Possess valid certification in medical equipment.
  6. Possess excellent communication skills.
  7. Work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality.
  9. Respond to inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  10. Document patient care and equipment readings.

Job Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification

  • High School Diploma/Ged

  • Cardiac Monitor Technician Certification

  • Ability To Operate Cardiac Monitoring Equipment

  • Ability To Recognize And Interpret Arrhythmias

  • Ability To Respond Quickly And Accurately To Emergencies

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals
