Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Mobile Health Vehicle Operator - On Call. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community by operating our state-of-the-art mobile health vehicle. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing quality care and has excellent communication and organizational skills.

  1. Operate and maintain the mobile health vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies for each mobile health event.
  3. Drive the vehicle to scheduled locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  4. Communicate effectively with team members and community members to promote the services offered by the mobile health vehicle.
  5. Provide high-quality care to patients by following established protocols and procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate records of patient visits, services provided, and any necessary follow-up.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners to identify and address the health needs of the community.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on best practices and advancements in mobile health services.
  9. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the mobile health vehicle at all times.
  10. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude when interacting with patients, team members, and community members.
  11. Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with the mobile health vehicle or equipment.
  13. Stay informed about current healthcare trends and regulations to ensure compliance and quality of services provided.
  14. Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  15. Serve as a positive representative of Kaiser Permanente in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Driver's License And Have A Clean Driving Record To Operate The Mobile Health Vehicle.

  • Medical Knowledge: A Good Understanding Of Basic Medical Procedures And Protocols Is Essential For This Role, As The Mobile Health Vehicle Operator May Need To Assist With Patient Care.

  • Flexibility And Availability: The Candidate Must Be Willing To Work On An On-Call Basis, As The Schedule For The Mobile Health Vehicle May Vary Depending On Community Events And Health Fairs.

  • Communication Skills: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Necessary For This Role, As The Mobile Health Vehicle Operator Will Need To Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members.

  • Emergency Training/Certification: The Candidate Should Have Basic First Aid And Cpr Training, As Well As Any Other Emergency Certifications Required By The State Or Kaiser Permanente. This Will Ensure The Safety Of Both The Operator And Patients In Case Of Emergencies.
