We are seeking a friendly and professional Member Experience Receptionist who is fluent in Spanish to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As the first point of contact for our members, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for all who enter our facility.   1. Greet and welcome members and visitors in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact for all members, answering inquiries and providing information about services and programs offered by Kaiser Permanente.
  3. Communicate effectively with members and visitors, both in English and Spanish, to ensure a positive and welcoming experience.
  4. Manage and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication to the appropriate departments and personnel.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of Kaiser Permanente's policies, procedures, and services to effectively assist members and visitors.
  6. Schedule and confirm appointments for members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
  8. Monitor and manage member flow, ensuring minimal wait times and a smooth check-in process.
  9. Handle and resolve member complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and positive member experience.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of member information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  12. Continuously strive to improve customer service and satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and implementing suggestions.
  13. Attend and participate in all required trainings and meetings.
  14. Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the facility.

Job Qualifications
  • Fluency In Spanish And English: As A Bilingual Receptionist, The Candidate Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively In Both Spanish And English To Assist Spanish-Speaking Members.

  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential For A Receptionist, As They Will Be The First Point Of Contact For Members And Must Be Able To Provide A Positive And Welcoming Experience.

  • Organizational Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Organizational Skills To Manage Multiple Tasks, Such As Scheduling Appointments, Answering Phone Calls, And Responding To Emails.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Terminology: A Basic Understanding Of Healthcare Terminology Is Necessary To Accurately Assist Members With Their Inquiries And Direct Them To The Appropriate Resources.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Medical Office Or Hospital, Is Preferred As It Demonstrates Familiarity With The Industry And The Ability To Handle Sensitive Information.
