Job Description

At Kaiser Permanente, we are currently looking for an exceptional Medical Assistant- Urology to join our team. As a Medical Assistant- Urology, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to the Urology department and will be a key member of the healthcare team. You will be expected to provide exceptional care to patients, while maintaining a professional and warm atmosphere. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality medical care and has a strong background in Urology care. In this role, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate should have the following qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent• Current certification as a Medical Assistant• 1+ years of experience in a medical office setting• Excellent organizational and communication skills• Knowledge of medical terminology• Proficient computer skills• Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team• Knowledge of Urology care and procedures

Responsibilities: • Provide administrative and clinical support to the Urology department • Provide exceptional care to patients, while maintaining a professional and warm atmosphere • Work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Provide patient care according to HIPAA guidelines • Perform medical office duties and procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting patient information, administering medications, and performing laboratory tests • Keep accurate patient records and maintain patient confidentiality • Schedule and confirm patient appointments • Assist physicians with exams, procedures, and other clinical duties as needed • Have knowledge of Urology care and procedures • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
