Job Description

We at Kaiser Permanente are looking for a Medical Assistant-Pediatrics who will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our pediatric department. The ideal candidate for this role should be organized, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working with children and families.To be successful in this role, you should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, along with some medical training and experience working with pediatric patients. You should also have a valid driver's license and CPR certification. The ideal candidate will also be tech-savvy, with experience using EMR systems.If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care to pediatric patients and their families, and you have the qualifications we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities: -Providing administrative and clinical support to the pediatric department -Organizing and maintaining accurate patient records -Managing patient scheduling, billing, and other administrative duties -Greeting and escorting patients and families -Assisting physicians and nurses with routine medical procedures and treatments -Administering immunizations and other medications, as well as taking vital signs -Performing basic laboratory tests -Educating patients and families about health topics and preventive care -Assisting with the maintenance of medical equipment -Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols -Maintaining a clean and organized work environment -Performing other duties as assigned
