Medical Assistant

We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you’ll provide general front-end support for our medical team, helping to ensure that our patients receive the best care possible. To be successful in this role, you should have a friendly attitude and excellent organizational and communication skills. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a deep commitment to providing excellent customer service.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working in a medical office, have a Medical Assistant certification, and have basic knowledge of medical terminology. Responsibilities: -Greeting and checking-in patients upon arrival -Assisting medical team with patient care -Verifying patient information and insurance coverage -Recording patient medical history, vitals, and test results -Performing diagnostic tests and other clinical procedures -Coordinating with pharmacists to ensure timely delivery of medications -Scheduling patient appointments and follow-up visits -Maintaining patient files and other medical records -Answering patient inquiries and providing general information -Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry -Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws -Providing support to other medical staff members
