As a Manager in our Optical Branch, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing a team of skilled opticians, and ensuring exceptional customer service for our patients.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Optical Branch, including scheduling, inventory management, and financial management.
  2. Manage and lead a team of opticians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service and patient satisfaction.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the Optical Branch.
  4. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to eye care services.
  5. Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing patient concerns and resolving any issues that arise.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and teams within Kaiser Permanente to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in eye care technology to continuously improve services and stay competitive.
  9. Uphold the company's values and mission of providing the highest quality healthcare services to our members.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and employee development.
  11. Create and maintain reports on key metrics and present them to senior management.

  13. Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and ensure billing and coding practices are compliant.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
  15. Represent the Optical Branch and Kaiser Permanente in a professional and positive manner at all times.
