
Manager IT Support, Desktop
We’re looking for an experienced IT Support Manager, Desktop to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. This role will be responsible for leading and managing a team responsible for providing end-user technical support and service. The ideal candidate will have a customer-service focus and be comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues. Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of IT technicians providing end-user technical support and service. • Investigate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to technical issues. • Develop and enforce support policies, procedures, and standards. • Monitor and manage performance of team members. • Maintain and manage technical documentation for training and reference materials. • Stay up to date on modern IT technologies and tools. • Provide customer service and ensure customer satisfaction. • Monitor team performance and provide feedback. • Develop performance plans and ensure team members adhere to them. • Manage staff schedules and assign tasks. • Ensure team is adhering to safety and security protocols. • Manage team budgets and inventory. • Investigate and analyze problems and generate reports. • Provide training and mentorship for team members.
