Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented IT Support Manager with a customer-centric mindset to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. The Manager IT Support, Desktop will be responsible for leading a team that provides technical support for desktops and other end user computing devices.The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of desktop support, possess strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills, and have a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of IT Support staff who provide technical support for desktops and other end user computing devices.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.
  3. Monitor and review customer feedback and requests to identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide accurate and timely resolutions.
  5. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and delivery of services.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the team is meeting customer needs and expectations.
  7. Establish and monitor performance metrics to ensure quality service delivery.
  8. Stay up to date on changes and trends in the IT industry.
  9. Lead team meetings and provide ongoing training and guidance to staff.
  10. Evaluate requests for new services and determine if they are feasible.
