Manager - Infection Prevention

We are looking for an experienced and driven Manager - Infection Prevention to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. A Certified Infection Preventionist (CIC) credential is highly desirable.The ideal candidate will be highly organized and analytical, able to manage multiple projects at once and work efficiently under pressure. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including senior management, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage the organization’s infection prevention program.
2. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of infection control practices.
4. Identify and address areas of improvement.
5. Evaluate new procedures and technologies for potential use in infection prevention practices.
6. Develop and provide education and training programs on infection prevention.
7. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure best practices are followed.
8. Develop and maintain data collection and reporting systems to identify patterns of infection.
9. Participate in audits and other assessment activities.
10. Monitor and report on trends in infection incidence.
11. Maintain a safe environment for healthcare providers and patients.
