Manager, Facility Engineering

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager, Facility Engineering to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. The Manager, Facility Engineering is responsible for overseeing the engineering and operational maintenance of the Kaiser Permanente facilities. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of operations, engineering, and maintenance, and will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and creating a positive workplace environment.The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, a minimum of 7 years of experience in operations, engineering, and/or maintenance, and excellent leadership skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee engineering and operational maintenance of Kaiser Permanente facilities.
2. Develop and implement engineering and maintenance initiatives to ensure efficient operations.
3. Provide leadership, direction, and support to staff to ensure facility engineering and maintenance goals are achieved.
4. Develop and manage the facility engineering and maintenance budget.
5. Monitor and audit engineering and maintenance operations and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure efficient operations.
7. Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
8. Identify and solve technical issues related to facility engineering and maintenance.
9. Maintain records of engineering and maintenance work and inspections.
10. Ensure the timely completion of all engineering and maintenance tasks.
