- Provide exceptional care to patients in the field of urology, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor and record patient responses.
- Educate patients and their families on urological procedures, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Perform routine and specialized urological procedures, such as catheterization and bladder irrigation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, vital signs, and test results.
- Monitor and assess patient progress, and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
- Order and maintain necessary medical supplies and equipment for the urology department.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education to stay updated on urological advancements and best practices.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other healthcare providers to ensure proper coverage and coordination of care.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, promoting a welcoming and compassionate environment for patients and coworkers.
- Serve as a role model for other healthcare team members, demonstrating excellent patient care and teamwork.
Valid Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Active Lpn License From The State In Which They Will Be Working. This Ensures That They Have Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Perform The Duties Of A Lpn.
Specialized Training Or Experience In Urology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Either Completed Specialized Training In Urology Or Have Previous Experience Working In A Urology Setting. This Will Ensure That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Assist In Urological Procedures And Treatments.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Lpn In Urology, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Communicate With A Diverse Group Of Individuals.
