  1. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients at our urgent care facility.
  2. Utilize nursing skills and knowledge to assess and monitor patient health, administer medications, and provide treatments as ordered by physicians.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatments, and medications.
  5. Adhere to all established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide education and support.
  7. Remain knowledgeable about current healthcare practices and procedures, including any updates or changes specific to urgent care.
  8. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote patient safety and infection control.
  12. Adhere to all Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of patient care.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Valid Lpn License In The State Where The Kaiser Permanente Urgent Care Facility Is Located.

  • Minimum Education And Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Diploma Or Degree From An Accredited Nursing Program And Preferably Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Urgent Care Or Similar Clinical Setting.

  • Cpr Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Have Current Cpr Certification.

  • Knowledge Of Urgent Care Practices: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Urgent Care Practices And Procedures, Including Triage, Medication Administration, And Patient Assessment.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Lpns Working In Urgent Care Settings Need To Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Think Quickly On Their Feet To Provide Quality Care To Patients In A Fast-Paced Environment.
