- Educate patients on the connection between mental health and physical health, and how lifestyle changes can improve overall well-being.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to help patients develop healthier habits and cope with stressors.
- Monitor and track patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in lifestyle medicine and incorporate them into treatment approaches.
- Provide support and guidance to patients in overcoming barriers to lifestyle changes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
- Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals on the role of psychology in lifestyle medicine.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other departments to provide holistic care for patients.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of treatment strategies and interventions.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job duties.

Doctoral Degree In Psychology: Candidates For This Position Should Possess A Doctoral Degree In Psychology From An Accredited Institution. A Specialization In Lifestyle Medicine Or Health Psychology Is Preferred.
State Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Psychologist. This Includes Passing The Examination For Professional Practice In Psychology (Eppp) And Completing Any Additional State-Specific Requirements.
Experience In Lifestyle Medicine: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Practicing Lifestyle Medicine And Helping Patients Make Positive Behavior Changes Related To Their Health. This May Include Knowledge Of Nutrition, Physical Activity, Stress Management, And Other Lifestyle Factors.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Lifestyle Medicine Psychologist, Effective Communication Is Essential. Candidates Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Other Healthcare Professionals, And Colleagues.
