  1. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify lifestyle factors that may impact overall health and well-being.
  2. Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate psychological principles and lifestyle modifications to address patients' specific health goals.
  3. Provide evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques, to support patients in making sustainable lifestyle changes.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nutritionists, and physical therapists, to provide holistic care for patients.
  5. Educate patients on the connection between lifestyle choices and overall health, and empower them to take an active role in their own well-being.
  6. Monitor and track patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  8. Stay current on research and developments in the field of Lifestyle Medicine to continuously improve treatment methods and approaches.
  9. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide input on patient care and treatment planning.
  10. Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and compassion in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  11. Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice set by licensing boards and professional organizations.
  12. Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending conferences and workshops, to enhance knowledge and skills.
  13. Contribute to the promotion of Kaiser Permanente's mission and values of promoting holistic health and wellness.
  14. Act as a role model for healthy lifestyle behaviors and serve as an advocate for Lifestyle Medicine within the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Psychology From An Accredited University, Specializing In Health Psychology Or Lifestyle Behavior Change.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Counseling Or Coaching Patients On Lifestyle Changes, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Certification In Lifestyle Medicine Or Behavior Change Techniques, Such As Motivational Interviewing Or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Approaches To Lifestyle Medicine, Including Nutrition, Physical Activity, Stress Management, And Sleep Habits.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals To Develop And Implement Comprehensive Treatment Plans For Patients.
