Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Masters Mental Health Professional to join our team at Kaiser Permanente.   1. Provide high-quality mental health services to patients at Kaiser Permanente, with the goal of improving their overall mental well-being.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate treatment plan for each patient.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
  4. Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities and techniques to effectively address a wide range of mental health disorders.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress throughout the course of treatment, and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  7. Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for patients.
  8. Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
  9. Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in the field of mental health to continuously improve the quality of care provided to patients.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, providing support and guidance throughout the treatment process.
  12. Maintain a professional and positive attitude, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patients and colleagues.
  13. Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences to further develop skills and knowledge in the mental health field.
  14. Continuously strive to uphold the values and mission of Kaiser Permanente, promoting a culture of empathy, respect, and excellence in patient care.
  15. Act as a role model and mentor for other mental health professionals, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Active And Unrestricted State Licensure As A Licensed Mental Health Professional (Lmhp).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Clinical Experience Providing Therapy And Counseling To Individuals, Couples, And Families.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities For Common Mental Health Concerns, Such As Depression, Anxiety, And Trauma.

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Mental Health Professionals.
