  1. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients struggling with substance abuse disorders.
  2. Create treatment plans and monitor progress for each patient, adjusting as needed.
  3. Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions to support patients in their recovery journey.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in chemical dependency treatment and apply this knowledge to patient care.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  7. Serve as a resource for patients and their families, providing education and support on chemical dependency and recovery.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of therapy services.
  9. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
  10. Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients to openly discuss their struggles and work towards recovery.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients, helping them navigate the healthcare system and access resources for ongoing support.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and respect for patients' privacy at all times.
  13. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to patient care and documentation.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve upon therapy techniques and interventions to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  15. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field.

  • Current License As A Chemical Dependency Counselor Through The State Licensing Board.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Providing Chemical Dependency Counseling In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities For Substance Use Disorders.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With A Diverse Patient Population.
