Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our Child Psychiatry team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional mental health support and services to children and their families. The ideal candidate will have a desire to collaborate with the Health Care team to provide the highest quality care for our patients.To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong background in mental health with a focus on children and families. You must also have a current license as a Mental Health Professional in the state of California. Finally, we are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient-focused, and dedicated to providing the best possible care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive mental health counseling services to children and families.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team to provide the highest quality of care.
  3. Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
  4. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Provide education to families about mental health topics.
  6. Attend team meetings and provide feedback and input.
  7. Maintain current license as a Mental Health Professional in the state of California.
  8. Utilize evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
  9. Document patient progress and interactions according to established protocols.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
