  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in accordance with Kaiser Permanente's mission and values.
  2. Serve as a crucial member of the healthcare team, working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the well-being of the community.
  3. Utilize clinical expertise and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
  5. Document patient care and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  6. Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
  7. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  9. Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
  10. Maintain a current California RN license and adhere to all state and federal regulations.
  11. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and participate in training and educational opportunities.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  13. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  16. Embrace and promote diversity and cultural competency in patient care.
  17. Display a positive attitude and contribute to a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  18. Attend staff meetings and participate in committees as required.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Employment With No Restrictions Or Disciplinary Action.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Acute Care Nursing Experience, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Bls And Acls Certification With A Strong Understanding Of Emergency Medical Procedures And Protocols.

  • Proficient In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Computer Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field Preferred, Or Actively Pursuing A Higher Level Of Education.
